What does Krav Maga mean ?
Krav Maga (Hebrew) means "contact combat." It is the self-defense and combat system used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Israeli police and security services, as well as many law enforcement agencies around the world.
Krav Maga is taught not only to elite forces, but also in institutions under the Israeli Ministry of Education, as well as to civilians around the world. Developed over years of real-life conflict, it offers practical and proven techniques.
Refined over years of conflict, Krav Maga focuses on techniques that are easy to learn and effective in real-life situations of danger. Unlike many martial arts, it relies on natural human reflexes, making it accessible and quick to learn, even for non-athletes.
